  • Jerome de Vitry - CEO

    In 1998 Jerome joined the founding team of Completel Europe NV, a telecom operator which became publicly listed in 2000. He held various positions including President of the French operations (1999-2001), COO (2001-2002), and CEO (2002-2007). He successfully created the French operations and progressively established Completel as the largest operator specializing in the business sector, and as the third largest business operator in France, after France Telecom and Neuf-Cegetel. Prior to this he worked for Alcatel NV holding senior management positions, and the Boston Consulting Group in Paris.

    Jerome graduated from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in France, were he was awarded an engineer degree in 1984 and in 1985 he received an MBA from INSEAD, France

  • Ian Valentine - Founder and Chief Architect

    Ian has 19 years of technical systems design, engineering and deployment experience, and has spent the last 11 years in the Digital Media and Television industries, with the last 7 years at Sky. He is a well known industry visionary, has advised the UK and European governments on Interactive TV standards.

    Ian led the MBO creating Miniweb from his department at Sky. Prior to founding Miniweb, he served 4 years as Technical Alliances Director of Sky New Media, and a member of BSkyB's R&D steering committee.

    Prior to working full time for Sky, Ian was co-founder (with Patrick Sansom) and Operations Director of waptv, the company which Sky acquired to obtain the original wTVML micro-browser technology.

  • Patrick Sansom - CTO

    Patrick has over 10 years experience in commercial IT and technology business development, much of this in the digital media and TV industries. As CTO he is responsible for technology development and alignment of this with business strategy.

    Patrick has been involved in a number of successful technology business developments. He was co-founder (with Ian Valentine) and CTO of waptv, the company which Sky acquired to obtain the original wTVML micro-browser technology. More recently he was CTO of Tamblin Limited which was acquired by Alcatel-Lucent.

    Prior to his commercial activities Patrick spent 7 years working as a researcher and lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at The University of Glasgow.

  • Jean-Marie Le Monze - COO

    Between 1998 and 2007, Jean-Marie worked for telecom operator Completel Europe NV, holding various positions - Vice President Engineering (from 1998), Chief Technology Officer (from 2001), and Chief Operating Officer (from 2006). Prior to joining Completel Europe, he spent four and a half years in the UK with cable operator General Cable PLC as Director of Network & Services, and Director of Digital Services.

    In 2008 Jean-Marie founded consulting firm A3M Technology, and Corporate Print, a next generation printing service provider.

    Jean-Marie graduated from Ecole Nationale des Telecommunications de Paris (MSc) and from the London Business School.

  • Callum Jay - Finance Director

    Callum is a chartered accountant with over 10 years experience, 5 of which he spent in the entertainment industry working directly with development studios. As Finance Director  he is responsible for the financial reporting, planning and strategy of the company. Callum also advises on commercial transactions undertaken by Miniweb and is responsible for the delivery of financial information to investors.
