The Image Transcoder is now available via the Miniweb Emulator.
This means that if your TV Site is relying on Image Transcoder functionality like PNG / JPEG backgrounds instead of MPEGs then you can now use the Miniweb Emulator without the need to convert your background images.
It is worth mentioning however that the live Miniweb Platform (which is accessed via a Sky STB on the Sky platform) has it's Image Transcoder connected to caches, whereas the Miniweb Emulator's instance of the Image Transcoder does not.
